Brief History Daniel Ridge is a hematologist (blood doctor). As a child growing up in Los Angeles, Daniel was babysat by Jennifer Walters , his next-door-neighbor. She was his first love and his infatuation with her continued into his college years. His older sister Jill Ridge was Jennifer's best friend and was assassinated by hitmen who mistook her for Ms. Walters. Daniel was the first person to discover Jennifer's new secret identity as the She-Hulk . He served as one of her nearest confidants but came to realize his infatuation with Jennifer had evolved into an infatuation with the She-Hulk. She-Hulk eventually moved to New York City , joining the Avengers .
