Doctor Scarabeus is a British scientist who operated an island in the Pacific where he created and experimented on 'Ani-Men'- of them Felix (feline) and Fangor (lupine) where the most successful, the older failed experiments known as the 'First Ones' where kept locked away. Dr. Scarabeus managed to capture the Hulk and had him confined, which Hulk broke out of, though after he changed to Banner was easily recaptured by Fangor, however Scarabeus' daughter Tisha freed Banner and explained his work. Dr Scarabeus then freed Gograth to fight Hulk, and in the chaos Hulk freed all the mindless 'First Ones' who rampaged over the Island. Hulk abandoned Scarabeus onto a smaller island after Tisha told him Scarabeus could not swim. Banner and Tisha then escaped in the emergency helicopter. Power and Abilities Doctor Scarabeus is a genius level genetic scientist.
