Brief History Member of the Savage Land Mutates , a team of villains made by Magneto based in the Savage Land . Equilibrius and his team opposed the X-men on one ocassion, as well as other superhero teams such as the Avengers. He also encountered Wolverine when he and fellow X-men Jubilee and Rogue entered the Savage Land once again. Creation Equilibrius was created by Roy Thomas and Neal Adams in 1969 and first appeared in X-Men # 62. Powers & Abilities Equilibius' gaze disables his opponents by causing an intense feeling of vertigo, leaving them entirely disoriented. His powers then compel his opponents to keep looking at him, making it nearly impossible for them to escape his power.
