Who is Fledermaus?

At the outset of WW II, the American government organised the super heroes of the nation as the All Star Squadron. In response to this, the Axis Powers, desperate to form their own superteam, brought togther the powerful beings of their nations as Axis Amerika. Among their number were Der Fledermaus and his father the Horned Owl. Throughout the conflict, Axis Amerika clashed with the All Star Squadron and the Young All Stars. When the conflict was over, Axis Amerika dispersed and it is unclear what happened to its individual members. Fledermaus was killed by Fury when she became possessed by Tisiphone.
