He thought his life was over when his football career ended but he became a mercenary for hire and had a passion for murder. Flying Tiger would make his presence known when he ambushed a fatigued Spider Woman outside the San Francisco International Airport. Flying Tiger tells Spider Woman that she has made some heavy enemies. One of his clients gave him a contract to take her out permanently. Flying Tiger was capable of powered flight and his aerial assault on the crimson beauty was taking its toll. Flying Tiger's armor even protected him from Spider Woman's venom blast.
