Creation Gabrielle Haller was created by Chris Claremont and Dave Cockrum and first appeared in The Uncanny X-Men Vol.1 issue 161 (1982). Major Story Arcs After the War After the war, Gabrielle was hospitalized in Israel . It was here that a young Charles Xavier first met her. Charles was a mutant with telepathic abilities.
