Brief History Little is known of Gloom's life before before he came to the Institute but it is known that he was part of many students that enrolled at Xavier's school after Professor X declared himself worldwide as a mutant and told that the mansion is a safe place for mutants causing many young mutants too seek refuge there. He used his powers on both Bishop and Sage when they were "trespassing" the school on Emma Frost's order by using his powers to blind them temporarily. He was revealed to have lost his powers due to the events of M-Day and possibly killed on Stryker's attack on the school bus. Powers He had the ability to release a nerve dampening darkness at will causing it to blind who ever he chooses temporarily.
