Who is Godwulf?

Earth-7484 The man known as Godwulf was an agent of the Nth Command , an offshoot of the Brand Corporation . He and other commandoes carried out Operation: Purge, wiping out the Avengers , Fantastic Four , and X-Men . This allowed Brand and its parent company Roxxon to launch a hostile takeover of America. Godwulf soon came to regret his actions and the devastating cost to the world. So he formed the Redeemers , a team of ex-mercenaries like themselves and sought to undo what had been done. Hellinger, seeking to take over the world after having brought about the downfall of his brother Simon Ryker , considered Godwulf's mysterious agenda and powers the greatest threat to his rule, and sought to use Deathlok, as a weapon against Godwulf. Godwulf encountered Luther Manning , the first Deathlok in the ruined subway tunnels of the post-apocalyptic New York city, and used a time machine to send him back in time away from Hellinger. He had only intended to do so briefly, but in the present of Earth-616, Fixer and Mentallo had happened upon Doctor Doom's Time Platform , and used it to summon Deathlok, trapping him in the past.
