Gorgon is a Marvel comic book character, the alter ego of Gorgon Petragon, with over 897 comic issue appearances. As a result of being exposed to the Terrigen Mist when he was an infant, Gorgon developed hooved feet and a powerful lower body. His legs are so powerful that with a single stomp, he can create shock tremors to disable his opponents.

Who is Gorgon?

Origin Gorgon is a member of the Royal Family of the Inhumans . As the only son of architect Korath and archivist Milena, his parents were leading citizens of the Inhumans' city-state Attilan. Korath was also brother to Agon, who was the former king of the Inhumans. Gorgon is also a cousin to King Black Bolt and due to this relationship is considered a member of the Royal Family. Creation Gorgon was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in Fantastic Four Volume 1 issue 44 (1965). Major Story Arcs Among the Inhumans The custom among the Inhumans during their teen years is to be exposed to the Terrigen Mists. Gorgon gained increased strength but he underwent a transformation when his feet were transformed to hooves. His hooves were capable of generating highly destructive seismic waves.
