Who is Gowar?
Gowar appears in the six part serialized tale " Island of Pirates Doom " which ran in Savage Sword of Conan issues 73, 74, 76-79. He is a pirate captain who has travelled to an unknown island along with Valeria of the Red Brotherhood . Valeria herself describes Gowar as being "fierce and crafty" and "one of the two men I have ever feared". The other man she has feared bing the Cimmerian called Conan of course.
