History The Grim Reaper was one of a seeming army of non-superpowered masked mystery men who fought crime and the Axis in the 40’s using only their wits, and fists, and, in the case of the Grim Reaper, two .45 automatic pistols, knifes, swords and occasionaly machineguns. In the Tom Strong universe of Alan Moore he was placed in suspended animation along with other masked crime fighters in the 40’s. Revived in the modern era, he became a mercenary. Upon holding Miss Masque hostage in the Terror Incorporated Building in Invertica, he is killed by the machine which is programmed to think like the Black Terror . Creation He was created Richard E.
