Who is Hack?

Major Story Arcs The Devil May Care Hack is leader of the Indianapolis Grendel clan, which runs the Indianapolis 5000 race, the most important event in the region. He is tough and respected, and knows how to lead. He has just installed an exciting new racer, Malka , within the race. The clan runs the town. Everything is good. One day, after letting his clan go crazy and partially destroy the town, as they often do, he and some of his lieutenants, Skid and Lugey , go to the hospital to find one of their own wounded men, Pogo. The hospital director, Dana , furious at the fact that the Grendels keep sending her so many wounded, shoots Skid in the leg and tells them to leave. Surprising everyone, Hack orders them to do just that.
