Origin Not much is known about Harpoon before he joined the band of Marauders, other then that his true name is Kodiak Noatak. Creation Harpoon was created by Chris Claremont , John Romita Jr and Bret Blevins in 1988 and first appeared in shadow in Uncanny X-Men # 210. Harpoon's full appearance was in Uncanny X-Men # 211. Major Story Arcs Mutant Massacre Harpoon was one of the mutants who attacked Angel in the Morlocks tunnels. He pinned angel to a wall with his harpoons which resulted in Angels amputation of his wings. Thor saved Angel before Harpoon could finish the job. He was also responsible for attacking Kitty Pryde which left her in a ghost like state. Harpoon also hurled a harpoon at a vulnerable Rogue who had her powers "scrambled" by Scrambler .
