Who is Henry Moon?
Henry Moon created by writers Alan Grant and John Wagner (under the pseudonym 'The Beast') and artist Massimo Belardinelli . The Mean Team appears in 2000AD and follows the comics tradition of bloodthirsty future sport stories (after Harlem Heroes and Mean Arena ). Once a man, Moon is blown to bits by a booby trapped enemy flag. With only his head surviving intact, the team owner, Richman Von, transplants his brain into the body of his pet panther, which is then drafted into Bad Jack Keller 's Mean Team.
