Origin Holly Gillis was a student at Empire State University who majored in art and dated Hector Ayala for a while. Holly and Hector were once held hostage inside the Coffee Bean shop by the Enforcers until they were saved by Spider Man . The Lightmaster would kidnap Hector because he believed the ESU student was Spider Man. When Hector revealed himself on national television as the White Tiger , Holly no longer wanted to be with him and hated him for deceiving her.
