Brief History D'Spayre Tormenting Lee Jock Forrester was the father of Lee Forrester . After being diagnosed with cancer and told that he only has one year of life he went to the Everglades and started to think about killing himself. The Man-Thing was attracted by this feelings and started to approach him, but before he could reach the human, D'Spayre managed to induce Jock to kill himself with a gun, feeding on his soul. After that, D'Spayre used his body some times. He first attacked Jock's daughter Lee and Cyclops and almost won, but the Man-Thing managed to defeat him. Much later, Jock's memory would later be used by D'Spayre to torment Lee, but this time her companion was the son of Cyclops, Cable .
