Who is Joe Wade?

Origin Joseph Wade was undercover FBI agent gathering information about Carolyn Trainer , he was discovered and put into virtual reality machine. There he appeared as Scarlet Spider and his mission was to tarnish the real Scarlet Spider's reputation. At first he was trapped in a machine and rampaged around the city as hard-light holoprogram. Later when the machine exploded he became infected with nanobots and he could turn himself into the Scarlet Spider. He did a lot of damage around the city, and he was finally stopped by Firestar , who burned him, revealing his silvery appearance. He then moved on and took hostages on Live TV. He battled the real Scarlet Spider and New Warriors there, but in the end he was talked out of fighting by his old FBI partner. He was carried away by the FBI, saying they will do everything to cure him.
