Origin Jonathan Allen also known as Johnny Quick is an evil counterpart of The Flash from the parallel universe of Earth-Three. Jonathan was a convicted felon, when his lover, Rhonda Pineda, helped him escape on his way to prison. But police trapped them on a rooftop when lightning struck, causing Jonathan to gain his speedster powers and giving Rhonda the ability to become Atomica due to falling into the building where a vessel, wherein Ray Palmer (the Earth-Three Atomico) was in, became unstable and exploded. With such power, he banded with four other like-minded super beings who together formed the Crime Syndicate of America and set out to conquer their world.
