Major Story Arcs The Escape Jonathan Francis becomes known for training the prison rats, a hobby which is secretly a cover for his planned use of those same rats to escape. He succeeds in escaping, but he and his rats inadvertently aid the spread of the Black Death through Europe . He dies of the disease. Powers and Abilities Jonathan has no known superhuman powers or abilities.
