Kana is a DC Comics comic book character, with over 13 comic issue appearances. As a ninja, Kana's entire body is a living weapon. He is a master of traditional Japanese martial arts and almost unbeatable in hand to hand combat.

Who is Kana?

Raised in Kyoto , Japan , the boy named Kana was sent to the House of Bamboo to learn the centuries old skill of the ninja, or "shadow warrior." Twelve years later, having completed his training, Kana returned home to see his parents hanged by order of the Japanese Major Saburu for being friendly to Westerners. Japan had now entered World War Two . Kana vowed to avenge his parents deaths by using his ninja skills to fight the current expansionist Japanese government on behalf of its western adversaries. Kana fled Japan and made his way to London , where he contacted the head of the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), who was known only as Control . Control sent Kana on a mission during which Kana killed Major Saburu, the man responsible for his parent's death. After that Kana undertook further missions on behalf of Control, but it is unknown whether or not he survived the war.
