Who is Keyhole Kate?

Keyhole Kate first appeared in The Dandy comic from 1937-55. She even managed to oust Korky the Cat on the cover for one issue in 1945. After a ten year absence she emerged in the pages of Sparky in 1965 where she was a regular character for nine years. She reappeared in the Dandy again in the 90s and has appeared intermittently since. In the digital version of The Dandy , an older version of her is depicted as a high school newspaper editor. Whereas the previous versions were all humour, this version has more of an adventure style with an ongoing narrative.
