Overview Daughter of Eitri , the master Forger and king of the dwarves, Kindra is an honest and caring young dwarf girl. When the New Mutants first visited Asgard , Kindra nursed Cannonball back to health. She quickly developed a crush on the handsome and tall mortal boy. Kindra has been a bargaining tool for Hela on a later occasion. In a similar manner to when Loki blackmailed Eitri into forging a powerful hammer that gave Storm powers over the weather (see Giant-Sized Uncanny X-Men Annual #9) in exchange for Cannonball's life, Hela threatened to kill Kindra and the other captive New Mutants if Eitri didn't create an Uru sword that was capable of killing Odin .
