Origin Kristy Watson is a cousin of Mary-Jane Watson. She is younger than her cousin. Creation Kristy Watson was created by Gerry Conway and Sal Buscema and first appeared in The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol.1 issue 145 (1988). Major Story Arcs Problems Kristy is a sweet kid but suffered from bulimia, an eating disorder. This all came to pass when Kristy breafly lived with Peter Parker and Mary Jane, her aunt. During their time together, Krist developed a bid of a crush on Peter Parker. She wanted Peter to like her the same way she did with him and thought it had something to do with the fact that Mary Jane was very slimm. She started eating less and less and eventually suffered from a heart attack due to her undereating.
