Who is Laurel Kenyon?

Laurel is the girlfriend of Grant Haskill aka N.R.G.-X. Both her and Grant were injured when a bomb exploded in the Research Laboratory at the Shady Point Nuclear Generating Station. The motionless body of Grant was taken to the Metropolis General Hospital where his vital signs were normal but he had no brain activity (the brain activity was controlling N.R.G.-X). While Grant's body laid in a comatosed state Laurel was convinced that Grant would recover.
