Who is Liberty Girl?

Creation The character named Liberty Girl first appeared in Marvel: The Lost Generation which was published by Marvel comics in 2000. She was part of an interesting addition to the Marvel Universe's continuity as Marvel: The Lost Generation was published in reverse order, Liberty Girl died in her first appearance in Marvel: The Lost Generation #4. Her first appearance chronologically was in Marvel: The Lost Generation #2. History Liberty Girl became active as a costumed crime fighter in the late 1950s. Liberty Girl was the paramour of the crime-fighter calling himself the Yankee Clipper. Her origin's and connections to Yankee Clipper out of costume were never revealed, just her first name was mentioned as Beverly. In 1958, agent Jacob Scott of the Defense Department acquired assistance from Yankee Clipper, the Black Fox and Liberty Girl. However Liberty Girl and the others were completely unaware that Agent Scott was really a Skrull spy who was attempting to reclaim his ship which had been in the custody of the United States government since it crashed on Earth in 1947.
