According to his creator Tom Stazer , Lionheart was named after his black cat, who was named after the Kate Bush album. He is a feline investigative reporter frequently got mixed up with aliens and monsters. He appeared regularly in Fantagraphic's Critters , with two issues devoted exclusively to his stories.
