Who is Lockup?
Origin Lockup was a mutant that was infected by the Brood when they attempted to invade Earth. A paramedic named Harry Palmer was implanted with a Queen egg and started infecting mutants to create a Brood force with abilities to rival the X-Men . Numerous mutants were infected including Lockup, Brickbat , Tension , Temptress , Blindside , Dive-Bomber , Spitball and Whiphand . Lockup would paralyze Wolverine with his touch but is forced to retreat when Brickbat and Dive-Bomber are killed in battle. Lockup would later battle the X-Men outside an amphitheater but is killed when a collapsing wall crushes him and Spitball. Creation Lockup was created by Chris Claremont and Marc Silvestri in 1988 and first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #232. Powers & Abilities Lockup can temporarily paralyze a person with his touch. Having been infected by the Brood, Lockup was granted fangs, claws, and a degree of enhanced strength like all Brood.
