Who is Loop Hughes?

Loop is driving home when he is approached by Agent Graves . Thinking the man is a cop, Loop lets him in. After a short conversation, Loop is left with a attache case with a gun and one hundred untraceable bullets. The target? His father, who walked out on his family years ago. Loop struggles with his decision but finally makes up his mind to confront his father. He knocks on his father's door and when Curtis Hughes opens it, he finds himself staring down the barrel of a gun. Loop tells his father who he is and that he's here to kill him. Curtis calls his bluff, saying that if Loop was going to shoot him, he would have done it by now.
