Who is Lucas Jackson?

History Lucas was born hideously deformed causing his father to abandon him at an early age. His mother kept Lucas hidden fearing that he was would be persecuted if he was seen. However he was discovered and a mob attempted to burn down his home. Despite an attempted rescue by the Thing and a local sheriff, the mob killed Lucas' mother. In response Lucas' mutant powers activated and he mentally compelled them to leave in peace. Powers Lucas has empathic powers to control others emotions.
