Who is Magdalene?
Origin Magdalene Marissa Darrow had been a former member of the Avengers in a alternate timeline. She would sometime later join a group led by the enigmatic Protector. He named the group of various timeline rescues the Gatherers. Magdalene would vow to seek and destroy Sersi in every timeline. It was believed by Magdalene as well as the Gatherers that Sersi was responsible for the destruction of hers and the others own time-lines. Creation Magdalene was created by Bob Harras and Steve Epting and first appeared in The Avengers Vol.1 issue 343 (1992). Major Story Arcs Against the Avengers Magdalene and Swordsman Magdalena and the Gatherers' quest eventually lead them to the 616 Universe. Protector even went so far as to "gather" Magdalena's alternate self from Earth-616, which ended-up in murdering her counter part.
