Brief History Meteorite is the daughter of New Warriors pilot Sprocket and the super villain Cardinal . They had a one-night stand and left, without realizing that Sprocket was pregnant. She joined the Air Force after school, and crippled her commanding officer after he raped her. She was put into prison, but later sent free by the Commission on Superhuman Activities, on the account she fought the Thunderbolts as a member of the Redeemers . They gave her a suit which she could use to fly or create a force field. After a while, the Redeemers were ambushed by Graviton and several were murdered. One of them was Meteorite.
