Who is Miranda?

Origin Very little is known about Miranda. At some point she found her way to the House of Mystery , and was one of those who were unable to leave. She worked as the waitress at the House for some time before joining Harry and Ann in descending into the basement to find a way out. They were attacked, and Miranda was left behind in the basement. Believed to be dead, she was captured by the Bête Noir , a living nightmare, which broke her mind and made her its wife. Creation Miranda was created by Lilah Sturges and Luca Rossi . She made her first appearance in House of Mystery #8 . Major Story Arcs House of Mystery Miranda is discovered by Fig to be still living in the basement, having become the mother of dozens of monsters by Bête Noir.
