Moe Ramboe was a veteran professional wrestler who went by the name "Superman". He had the ring name "Superman" twenty years before the Man of Steel was around and he was upset that the Man of Steel used the name Superman. He also had the ability to dream and if he remembers his dreams they come true. If the dreams involved sports he was able to name the winners. He previously dreamed the winners of the World Series, Super Bowl and Stanley Cup. And, with the winnings his low level crime boss brother Jake Ramboe made a small fortune. Moe told his brother Jake of the dream where he defeated Superman. His brother Jake taking advantage of this dream decided to call together the crime bosses of Metropolis where they would unite as one gang instead of fighting among each other.
