He went on a rampage and beat both Kyle Rayner and Alan Scott . Later, Kyle had the Justice League to help fight Nero. They finally beat him by showing tapes of his parents which then made him go crazy and he made constructs of his parents which taunted him. He then disappeared. He came back later to fight Kyle Rayner again.
