Ogress is a Marvel comic book character, the alter ego of Diane Davids, with over 13 comic issue appearances. An attorney turned into a monster by the Leader, she then joined the Riot Squad.

Who is Ogress?

As Diane Davids, she was a frustrated lawyer living in Middletown. Tired of defending criminals, she destroyed a clients case and was held in contempt of court the night that Leader detonated the gamma bomb. In an attempt to gain more test subjects for his experiments, Leader detonated a controlled gamma bomb in a Middletown which killed over 5000 people. The blast created five new superhuman enforcers whom Leader used to build the hidden society called Freehold in the Arctic. Diane was mutated into the hideous and powerful Ogress. She fought alongside Jailbait and Hotshot in battle against the Hulk on a few occasions. Creation Ogress was created by Peter David and Todd McFarlane in 1988 and first appeared in The Incredible Hulk # 345. Powers & Abilities Ogress possesses superhuman strength, durability and resistance to injury.
