He originally employed Deadpool for the directive, but eventually started feeding him misinformation and brought in Captain America to act as the hero needed to usher in the arriving Messiah . Dixon grew increasingly violent over time, even slapping Zoe Culloden , who was supposed to be on his side. His encounter with the Messiah left him insane and he was sent to a mental insttution. Deadpool ended up killing the so-called Messiah.
