Who is Picknose?
Picknose flees with Old Maggoty when his subterranean village is ransacked by the ice#trolls of Guttlecraw . He is the first trolls to live above the surface in the bright of day. Like all trolls, he is driven by a strong sense of smell that can detect ores and delectible roots. Moon Dagger Picknose is a drunkard and a fool. He relishes the chance to claim his cousin Two-Edge 's promised treasure, but to gain access, he needs the Key of Moonblade (New Moon) in order to claim it. This Key is in the possession of Bearclaw & Cutter , elves whom he must befriend. Trinket " Brats ", along with jewels and smithed, are for a troll the greatest treasures of all. After the original ElfQuest by Richard and Wendy Pini, Picknose and Oddbit bear a child named Trinket .
