Who is Polecat?

Creation The character named Polecat was first seen in Adventure Comics #331 and was created by Jerry Siegal and Jim Mooney. The date of his first appearance was April 1965. Origin Calling himself Polecat due to his stench causing abilities he tried out for the Legion of Super-Heroes but was rejected due to his power's lack of application in battle. Character Development Original Continuity: New Earth Is it something I ate? Dafe had the ability to emit a foul smelling stench from the two horns growing out of his head. People rarely interacted with him due to the stench and appearance, so it looked like he would be leading a lonely life. When he learned the Legion of Super-Heroes, he thought he might have finally found a usefulness for his odd power. Calling himself Polecat, he tried out for the Legion, but was rejected due to his power's lack of application in battle. After that he got a job working as a security guard in an Antarctic research facility.
