Who is Poundcakes?

Origin An original member of the Grapplers , a group of female mercenaries who posed as wrestlers, Poundcakes was renowned for her massive legs. Her weapon of choice was a pair of "Seismic Boots," which enabled her to create tremors and earthquakes by stomping the ground. They proved useful in her first major battle with the Grapplers, as they fought Goliath and Quasar . However, the Grapplers were eventually defeated and imprisoned after they attempted to vandalize Project: PEGASUS. Creation Poundcakes was created by Mark Gruenwald and Ralph Macchio , and first appeared in Marvel Two-In-One #54 , August 1979. Major Story Arcs Poundcakes smashes Dazzler - Dazzler #13 In prison, Poundcakes and the other Grapplers were leaders of the women's wing. They captured Dazzler in attempt to initiate her into the Grapplers, but Dazzler used Songbird 's powers against the Grapplers, knocking them all unconscious. However, before Dazzler defeats them they give her quite a scare.
