Rita's mother desired that she become a professional actress and appear on the big screen. Both got their wish in a way as Rita would eventually become one of the biggest movie stars in the entire world during the 1940's and 50's. Some of her more notable films include; Cover Girl, The Loves of Carmen, Affair in Trinidad, and You'll Never Get Rich, among other films. Rita Hayworth would ultimately died as a result of Alzheumer's Disease on May 14, 1987, she was 68 years old.
