Who is Rosalind Sharpe?
Origin A famous and controversial attorney from Boston, Rosalind Sharpe enters the life of Daredevil when she makes an offer to Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson to become her associates. Daredevil is surprised to find that share and Foggy know one another until it is later revealed that she is Foggy's birth mother. She divorced her husband and left the family to better pursue her legal career. She was ultimately what inspired Foggy to become a lawyer. Creation Rosalind Sharpe was created by Karl Kesel and Cary Nord and first appeared in Daredevil issue 353 (1996). Major Story Arcs No Son of Mine After he and Matt join Sharpe's firm Foggy becomes a victim of Mysterio , who manipulates him into having an affair and then framing him for murdering that woman, thus ruining Foggy's relationship with Liz Allan . This also results in Sharpe terminating him from her firm, as she does not want her son's affair and murder accusation to bring negative publicity. When Matt starts preparing Foggy's defense, Sharpe orders him to cease, not wanting their firm to be involved at all.
