Scorn is a DC Comics comic book character, the alter ego of Ceritak, with over 44 comic issue appearances. Scorn is Kandoran, who followed Superman out of the bottle in Fortress of Solitude, and explores Earth and Metropolis.

Who is Scorn?

His father Cerimul, a Kandorian Council member, failed to unite Kandor in peace and Ceritak escaped to Earth. Unable to communicate with the people of Earth, he was thought to be a menace. After meeting with Superman it is discovered to be a misunderstanding and Ceritak becomes an ally, helping to take down Parasite , Cyborg and Deathtrap . He befriends Ashbury Armstrong and is later captured and experimented on by Lex Luthor . He finally reconciles with his father and disappears leaving only an indecipherable note for his Earth friends. Scorn has not been seen since.
