They climb down a hill leaving the horse, the dog and Shiara to wait. When they get down there a dragon is waiting. The attack the dragon and Gareth grabs a sword and stabs it. The dragon turns into Shiara. She tells them she wanted the bow. Arwyn makes a compromise telling Shiara if she kills Mordath she can keep the bow.
