Who is Skid Mullard?
Created by writers John Wagner and Alan Grant and artist Robin Smith , Skid appears in the 2000AD series Judge Dredd. Skid Mullard is a Mega-City citizen with a problem, he's addicted to petty crime. Vandalism, minor theft or scrawling - Skid has the urge to do it all. Skid joins 'Perp Aid' - a group of like-minded individuals who all share their stories and help each other with their urges. Skid is doing well, until he runs in to Judge Dredd and the urge becomes overpowering. Calling the lawman a 'stinkin' fascist pig' he proceeds to go on a minor rampage, knocking over bins and throwing a brick through a shop window. Dredd arrests him and, because of his 38 previous minor convictions, he's given a lobotomy. Now Skid is a happy vegetable....with no urges.
