Who is Slambeaux?

Slambeaux was a member of the Silver Squad which were android bounty hunters formed by Silvermane to terminate Spider Man . Slambeaux and his other teammates which included Ripster , Twit and Purdy Larry interrupted Peter Parker's and Mary Jane's carriage ride in Central Park with some gunfire. Peter Parker fell behind some bushes while Mary Jane was greeted by the Silver Squad. They knew her husband was connected to Spider Man and they wanted his blood. Parker changed into Spider Man and confronted the Silver Squad. Slambeaux accidentally shot Purdy Larry in half during the firefight and Spider Man realized they were all androids so he cut loose on them. Spider Man tossed Slambeaux into the sparking body of Purdy Larry which ignited the bounty hunter's ammo belt and destroyed him in the explosion. Creation Slambeaux was created by Terry Kavanagh and Alex Saviuk in 1991 and first appeared in Web of Spider-Man # 79.
