History Fox Comics Origin Sharon Kane's husband, Dr. Harry Kane, was gunned down by criminals while he was working on a web fluid weapon. She became the Spider Queen. She fell into the public domain like many lesser known comic book superheroes of the Golden Age after World War II . Marvel Invaders Spider Queen, along with Strongman , Doctor Nemesis , Volton , and The Human Meteor , were retcon by Roy Thomas at Marvel Comics in 1993. In this new continuity, Spider Queen's husband was murdered by Communists instead of criminals. She joined Battle-Axis believing that only the Axis Powers could eliminate the threat of communism . She was defeated and captured by The Invaders .
