Origin Very little is known about Squire Shade. Apparently a ghost, the manner of his death and ghostly resurrection are unclear, but appears to be related to an uprising in his home country, and a curse which has kept him tethered to life. Creation Squire Shade was created by Cary Burkett and Howard Bender . He made his first appearance in Ghosts #104 . Major Story Arcs Ghosts Squire Shade shares supernatural horror stories with people who join him in his carriage. Powers and Abilities Squire Shade appears to be a ghost. He seems to be constantly physically invisible, and able to also turn his clothing invisible at will. He is also able to become incorporeal.
