Who is Turk?

Major Story Arcs Turk Barrett was a small-time crook who has been associated with Eric Slaughter , Kingpin , and the Thunderbolts, a radical African-American gang who clashed with Daredevil and Black Panther and had ties to Zodiac . Turk Barrett as Mauler. Barrett once stole the Mauler armor in a failed attempt to confront Daredevil. He later managed to steal the Stilt-Man armor and offered his services to the Kingpin. Fisk contended that he did not employ idiots and turned him down. The original creator of the Stilt-Man armor, Wilbur Day, contacted Daredevil with information on how to defeat Barret. Turk Barrett spent much of his time at Josie's Bar with his friend Grotto who often reluctantly participates in Turk's schemes. Turk once mugged a "Santa" at Christmas and intended to use the costume to swindle donations from others.
