Who is Unit?

Origin Unit's alien creators had technology that gave them peace and calm in the chaos of existence. Since they where all immortal this state would continue forever. They, in effect, had Heaven. Yet one amongst them noticed a pertinent fact: They might have Heaven, but the rest of the universe had Hell. So they offered charity to those who accepted it; but there was a fault in this action, as those who did not accept their charity would eventually hurt those who did. They could not create Heaven for everyone else without eliminating those who wished to undo it. Thought to be a sad but necessary step, Unit was created. A Unit would be placed on a planet, his species would then leave, and would talk to the life on that planet.
