Vigilante (Adrian) is a DC Comics comic book character, the alter ego of Adrian Chase, with over 155 comic issue appearances. The infamous Vigilante mantle was first assumed by DA Adrian Chase as a means to fight crime outside of his official jurisdictions. He used non lethal methods at first, but his mental health deteriorated and he became a killer. Several others have followed suit since his death, most notably his younger brother, Dorian.

This occurrence prompts Adrian to seek justice in his own way as the Vigilante with the help of two partners. One partner is Jonathan James (J. J.) Davis , a technology wizard and computer genius. His other partner is Theresa Gomez .
